IHHR Hospitality: Changes in Management
New Delhi, June - 2006 IHHR Hospitality has appointed Mr. Raj Rao as the new General Manager of Ananda in the Himalayas. Raj joins with two decades of rich and diverse experience in the hospitality industry. He has worked with leading hotel chains in India and abroad.
Before joining Ananda in the Himalayas he has held important positions with many leading hotels of the world including the Oberoi Group, Ritz Carlton (St. Thomas, Florida, Boston), Four Seasons, Chicago, Marriott Hotels and Doubletree Hotels.
Raj has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration & Bachelors of Arts in Finance from San Diego State University, USA.
Andrew Saldanha is Vice President, Operations, IHHR Hospitality
Mr. Andrew Saldanha, who was till recently General Manager of Ananda in the Himalayas, has moved to the corporate office of IHHR Hospitality, in Delhi, as Vice President - Operations. He will now take charge of all upcoming properties of the company.
Mr. Saldanha is a graduate of St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management from the Oberoi School of Management, New Delhi. He has also been through the Food and Beverage Management Course from Lausanne Hotel School, Switzerland.
Naresh Chandnani is Vice President, Sales & Marketing, IHHR Hospitality
Mr. Naresh Chandnani, who was till recently Director Sales & Marketing, Ananda in the Himalayas, has been appointed Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, IHHR Hospitality Private Limited. In his new role, Naresh will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and planning the marketing and sales strategies for all upcoming IHHR properties.
Naresh has over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. He started his career with the Taj Group of Hotels and later on worked with Hyatt Regency before joining Ananda in the Himalayas. He did his Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel management, Pusa, New Delhi and also holds an MBA degree with specialization in Marketing.
